We need your help! We’re extremely low on wet cat food again at our shelter and it’s almost Easter! Our shelter is where we rehabilitate and home many sick, injured, or upset kitties we can’t show to the public yet. To make things easy, we have a wish list of items on Amazon and on Chewy. WE CAN’T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU!

At this time of harvest and celebration, we at Beyond Nine have much to celebrate!  We’re especially grateful for those who devote much of their time, talent, and treasure to this great cause.  We rely solely on volunteers, but even though they make all the difference in our daily operations, our challenges are great. Chief among our needs is funding for veterinary care.

Vet visits are critical to relieving the suffering of countless cats and essential to readying them for adoption.

The cats just keep coming.  Here in South Florida, we have kitten season year-round, and we are now confronted with a surging number of older cat surrender requests.  Beyond Nine rarely says “no”.  We are truly a no-kill rescue.  We do not accept euthanasia as a solution to treatable medical conditions or as a means of population control for animals.  As a result, some cats and kittens may need to spend long periods with us, and some may never be adopted.

Please, please make a commitment to help us keep our adoption center doors open.  Please give now for the health and security of the cats and kittens in our care. Help us to be able to say “yes” to you the next time you ask us for help.

Cashew first came to us in December of 2017. He’s a gray tabby and white cat who has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). Despite his diagnosis, Cashew is in excellent health and has a heart full of love to give. Unfortunately, his condition means he can only be placed in a home without other cats or with other FeLV-positive cats, making his search for a forever home a bit more challenging.

 

Cashew’s days are spent in a lonely cage, yearning for the companionship and affection he so deeply craves. His sweet nature and love for attention make him a perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and loving friend. Cashew’s playful spirit and gentle demeanor are sure to bring joy to any home willing to open their hearts to him!

• From Federal Highway: We’re one block South of 62nd Street to the main entrance on the west side of Federal Highway. Watch for signs and balloons!
• Parking at your discretion; side streets are okay yet please don’t block driveways or intersections.

Meet Dottie & Cougar!

These tiger tabby sisters are just over a year old and have striking orange coloring mixed in with their fawn tiger stripes!

Cougar is a bit more outgoing and loves to explore…
